THE ROLE
We are seeking a resourceful and detail-oriented person to provide logistical support services relevant to orders being processed. The successful candidate will interact daily with our Caribbean customers, their chosen Freight Forwarders and Suppliers all over the world to ensure orders are shipped accurately, economically, and promptly. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced office environment and providing proactive customer service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand documentation and market requirements for assigned territories
• Review purchase orders and shipping documents for accuracy
• Provide proactive customer service while ensuring pending orders ship promptly and shipping solutions are cost effective
• Liaise with distributors, freight forwarders, and suppliers frequently regarding order availability and readiness
• Provide documentation to international customers and suppliers in a timely manner
• Keep sales team apprised on logistics matters
REQUIREMENTS
• Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
• 2+ years experience in Logistics, Import/Export or International Customer Service (preferred)
• Fluency in French and/or Spanish (preferred)
• Excellent written and oral communications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity working in a CRM
• Proven analytical skills and resourcefulness
• Keen attention to detail
